Drew McCartney is a seasoned healthcare executive with more than 30 years of experience leading private equity-backed healthcare services, technology, and provider organizations. A five-time Chief Executive Officer, Drew has built, scaled, and transformed healthcare businesses across behavioral health, specialty pharmacy, neurorehabilitation, senior care, and physician practice management, generating successful exits for both strategic and financial investors.
Since 2007, Drew has been repeatedly selected by private equity sponsors to lead organizations operating below their potential, stabilize performance, recruit high-performing leadership teams, accelerate growth, and create enterprise value. Throughout his career, he has partnered with investors, boards, management teams, lenders, and healthcare operators to execute turnaround strategies, operational transformations, acquisitions, and growth initiatives.
Today, Drew serves on the boards of several behavioral health organizations and advises investors, operators, and management teams on growth, operational improvement, reimbursement strategy, and value creation initiatives. His firsthand experience leading provider organizations enables him to bring practical, operator-focused solutions to the complex challenges facing behavioral health providers.
Prior to his healthcare leadership roles, Drew spent 15 years with Baxter International. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia.
