Amanda Snyder-Budnik brings more than ten years of experience in the home health industry and is a highly skilled and experienced OASIS coder. She began her career in Home Health in 2016 after earning her degree in Medical Coding & Billing from the US Career Institute. Amanda specializes in Home Health coding, OASIS review, Hospice review, and Palliative physician coding, and holds certifications in home care coding (HCS-D), OASIS competency (HCS-O), hospice coding (HCS-H) and CPT Coding (CPC). Prior to transitioning into the coding and OASIS field, she worked in public administration with multiple nonprofit organizations across South and Central Texas, focusing on care for underinsured and uninsured patient populations.

In 2017, Amanda joined Home Health Solutions, LLC, which later merged with SimiTree. She played a pivotal role as one of the founding members of the company’s LIVE QA program, helping agencies strengthen coding accuracy, OASIS compliance, and operational productivity. Throughout her tenure, Amanda has been dedicated to enhancing the knowledge and performance of her agencies, beginning at the clinician level and extending upward through leadership and operational support. She is known for her collaborative leadership style, enthusiasm for problem-solving, and passion for continuous learning and growth.

Currently serving as a Senior Team Manager at SimiTree, Amanda oversees managers, auditors, vendor partnerships, and agency operations across multiple projects. She also leads implementation efforts for new EMR processes, project kickoffs, and workflow improvement initiatives within the department. Amanda is passionate about helping agencies improve coding quality, OASIS compliance, and overall operational success.
